Sell-by dates to be scrapped to cut food waste

Did you know –- “best before date” means that the food product may lose quality after that date but it is still safe to eat. 

You’re not the only one throwing out food based on the labels. Millions of homes waste tons of perfectly good food. And the British Government is taking notice.

We need know our food better and to go back to trusting our senses. Labels are just guidance.
